Somatic life coaching focuses on the connection between the body and mind, emphasizing how physical sensations and movements influence thoughts and emotions. Unlike traditional coaching, which often focuses primarily on cognitive processes, somatic coaching incorporates body-based practices to address and resolve issues at their root, promoting holistic healing and lasting change.
Somatic coaching equips you with tools and techniques to regulate your nervous system, which is key in managing stress and anxiety. By learning to tune into your body’s signals and respond with specific somatic practices, you can reduce the physiological impacts of stress and develop greater resilience against anxiety.
No prior experience is necessary. Our program is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or familiarity with somatic practices. We provide clear instructions and support throughout the program to ensure you feel comfortable and confident as you learn and apply new techniques.
For each week of the program, we will meet 1:1. Weeks 1, 3-6 are 50 minute sessions and week 2's session is 2 hours.
Additionally, there will be times when you have "assignments" between sessions that take anywhere from 5-20 minutes (at most).
The benefit of somatic coaching is that every session brings a unique level of awareness to what your mind and body needs in order to release, heal, and reset. The most common issues that come up during our sessions are: stress, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem, relationships, low energy, lack of motivation, and procrastination.
