Seattle, Washington, the Emerald City of the Pacific Northwest is an ideal destination for travelers looking for outdoor escapades, museums galore, and exquisite cuisine. Whether you’re on the road to Seattle to visit Mt. Rainer, ride the Space Needle, or simply walk the streets of the city, here are some food spots to fuel your adventures.

Seattle, Washington has numerous restaurants to satisfy just about any craving, but what about when it comes to vegans? Lucky for us, Seattle Washington passes the vibe check with its abundance of vegan restaurants in the area. Below are some noteworthy vegan restaurants to check out.

#1 Kati Vegan Thai

1190 Thomas St. Seattle, WA 98109

In the mood for some vegan Thai cuisine? Look no further than Kati Vegan Thai. Here you will find an extensive menu of Asian-inspired soups, stir-fries, curries, and more.

Located in South Lake Union, Kati Vegan Thai has top-notch drinks and desserts to accompany your appetizers and entrees. Just one look at their photos and you’ll be tempted beyond measure to order a “Coconut Fancy” and “Garderner’s Secret” with your meal.

Kati Vegan Thai serves lunch and dinner.

When in doubt, go with a curry. Keep in mind that curries are known for their spice, so if that’s not your thing, talk with your waiter to see if the heat level can be adjusted.

#2 Plum Bistro

1429 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

Crowned as Capitol Hill’s most beloved vegan restaurant, you can trust that you are in good hands when visiting Plum Bistro. Serving up brunch, lunch, and dinner, Plum Bistro is the place to treat yourself to all the comforts of pasta, burgers, and cheesecake.

Whether you treat yourself to a “Salted Caramel Apple French Toast” for brunch, a “Crispy Chicken Bowl” for lunch, or an “Oyster Mushroom Po Boy” for dinner, you’re taste buds will be thanking you.

Want a Recommendation?

Fuel up with “Let’s Hash it Out” for brunch, which includes skillet mushrooms, fried onions, tofu bacon crumble, chopped potatoes, and sweet peppers, all topped with fried eggs and a side of avocado toast. For lunch or dinner, try their “Wild Mushroom Ragu” or the American classic: “My American Guy Cheese Burger.”

#3 Life on Mars

722 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122

Located in the heart of Capitol Hill, Life on Mars lives up to its name. With an unmatched ambiance and mouth-watering menu items, Life on Mars is the place to go if you’re craving some plant-based comfort food for either brunch or dinner.

“Disco Poutine,” “Chick ‘N Waffles,” and “Bad Wolf Breakfast Sandwich” are just a few brunch items you can look forward to alongside burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and loaded fries for dinner.

Life on Mars also has plenty of unique cocktails & drinks with a select dessert menu.

Want a Recommendation?

Life on Mar’s “BBQ Chick’N Strips” is worth your undivided attention, served with a side of vegan ranch or bleu-cheez dipping sauce. Pair this with a sizeable side of “Mac ‘N’ Cheez,” and you’ll be set. For brunch-goers, the “Chick’N Waffles” taste amazing.

#4 Veggie Grill

1427 Fourth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

If you find yourself in downtown Seattle, I highly recommend making a stop at Veggie Grill. With a simple yet quality menu selection, Veggie Grill has vegan burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a selection of sides to choose from.

This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for something quick but filling. Unfortunately, Veggie Grill does not serve breakfast or brunch, but their desserts make up for it!

Want a Recommendation?

At Veggie Grill, it’s okay to be that person to order “Chick’N Tenders” (with your choice of either BBQ sauce, buffalo, or ranch). Round this off with an order of “Truffle Mac + Cheese.”

#5 Loving Hut

1226 S. Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98144

Now expanding and planting roots in various destinations around the states, Loving Hut is becoming a go-to for plant-based eaters. With an extensive Asian-inspired menu, you might find yourself ordering just about everything there is.

From vegan sushi to wonton soup to fried rice, Loving Hut doesn’t disappoint with its array of lunch and dinner options.

Want a Recommendation?

Loving Hut’s “Pad Thai” is delicious and can be paired with an order of “Golder Rolls” or “Jumping Princess” (essentially, plant-based fried shrimp).
